That vision has now become a reality with the launch of Camia Property, a boutique agency powered by URBAN X.

Liam’s road into the industry wasn’t straightforward. After years in events management and hospitality, he found himself drawn to real estate, captivated by what he describes as “the uncapped potential, strictly limited to your imagination or the input you make.” Since stepping into the industry in 2013, he has been driven by that mindset, seeing property not just as buying and selling, but as a way to forge genuine connections and help people shape their futures.

Billee brought her own depth of experience from hospitality and nursing, giving the pair a grounded, people‑first approach to business. Together, they’ve embraced “the thrill of the chase for new business and building new long-term relationships,” as well as the satisfaction of learning “what clients have done to create their own success professionally and through property.”

After more than a decade building other people’s brands, the decision to launch Camia Property was deeply personal. Liam reflects that it was driven by “Family, Values, and the ability to grow exponentially.” For them, building their own agency meant moving away from splitting earnings fifty‑fifty and instead investing in something that would directly benefit their family and future.

Liam and Billee share a clear vision for their family’s future, aiming to provide their daughters with opportunities that they didn’t get growing up. Their ambition is not only to create a better life for themselves but also to open doors for others. By building a business that prioritises people and community, they aim to make a lasting difference and leave behind something truly meaningful.

Liam and Billee run every part of the business together, “hands‑on as a couple, not a one‑man band”, combining the sharp negotiation skills of a full‑time agent with the precision and oversight of an experienced operations manager. Both are licensed, both understand the demands of listing and selling, and together they bring a level of service and insight that’s rare in such a young brand.

For those considering starting their own business, Liam is upfront about what it takes to go out on your and why it’s worth it. “My only advice would be – be prepared to hustle hard again and if you can back yourself, that's the number one thing, then do it. What do you have to lose?”
