Megan and Georgia are bringing a fresh, people-first approach to real estate across Ipswich and the surrounding areas with the launch of Acutt & Greet

A business grounded in trust, genuine connection and a shared passion for helping clients navigate life’s biggest moments.

“What really attracted us to real estate is the people. We love getting to know clients, understanding their stories, and helping them take that next big step. Whether it’s buying their first home or growing their investment portfolio. For us, it’s about more than property; it’s about trust, relationships, and being part of moments that truly matter. Real estate gives us the chance to combine our passion for people with our drive to build something meaningful, and we find a lot of joy in turning someone’s dreams into reality,” they say.

What excites Megan and Georgia most about real estate is the human side of the job. “What we love about being real estate agents goes far beyond the houses. Every day, we get to step into people’s lives during some of their biggest moments, buying their first home, selling a family house, or finding a place that finally feels like home. That means we wear a lot of hats; sometimes we’re strategists, sometimes problem-solvers, and sometimes just a listening ear or a cheerleader when the process feels overwhelming. We celebrate the wins, help navigate the stress, and share in the excitement. At the end of the day, it’s not just about transactions, it’s about people, relationships, and helping someone start the next chapter of their life,” they explain.

The decision to start their own agency came from a desire to do things differently, to break free from cookie-cutter models and offer a truly personal approach. “We decided to build our own business because we wanted the freedom to do things our own way and the ability to create a brand that truly reflects who we are. Owning our own business allows us to shape the experience for our clients, make meaningful connections, and build something that’s not just about transactions, but about trust, relationships, and a personal touch,” they say.

Before launching Acutt & Greet, Megan and Georgia often felt restricted by larger franchises. “Before branching out, our biggest frustrations were stepping away from the big franchises and feeling constrained by how they expected us to run our business. There was little room for personalisation or truly tailoring the experience for our clients. We wanted the freedom to connect with people on a deeper level, create a business that reflected our values, and provide an experience that’s genuinely about them, not just transactions.”
