Gore Realty partners with URBAN X

Gore Realty, led by directors Damon Gore and Connie Gore, has partnered with URBAN X to build a boutique, community-focused agency designed around better communication, better preparation, and better outcomes for clients - without the pressure of chasing volume.
For Damon, the motivation to do things differently started with personal experience. After selling properties through agents who didn’t communicate well - and didn’t seem to push for the best result - he and his team set out to create a model that feels more considered and more hands-on.
“We wanted to be different,” Damon explains. “Helping our clients get their homes ready for sale so that when marketed they stand out and attract the best buyers - then we can negotiate strongly to achieve the best result possible.”
The Gore Realty team, completed with Sales Consultant Tamar Scott-Holland, support clients through the full sales process, bringing the same people-first, community-led approach the brand is built on.
That focus is grounded in a simple belief: real estate is ultimately about people.
“We’ve built a team who share the same values,” Damon says, “Myself, Connie and Tamar all believe that it’s our duty to not only get a great outcome for our clients but one with the least amount of stress.”
After six years in the industry, Damon says the decision to align with URBAN X came down to fit. They wanted a partner who could help remove admin weight, keep them at the front edge of marketing and tools (including AI), and give them more time where it matters most: with clients and buyers.
“We didn’t want to be pressured on the number of sales we would need to make every month. We want to be people focused and community engaged.”
The team also acknowledges the trust barrier many agents face, particularly when clients have had poor past experiences, and when you’re still earning your place in a local market.
“A lot of people have had previously bad experiences with other agents,” Damon says, “so at times it is hard to get to know them. Not having grown up in the area means we have to work hard to prove ourselves each and every day.”
For Gore Realty, building trust is not just about results. It’s about showing up locally. The business describes itself as a genuine boutique agency with strong community ties - including launching a community club to give kids an after-school space to relax, play classic arcade games, and spend time together.
Partnering with URBAN X was also a decision made with eyes open. Damon says they’d seen other agents team up with URBAN X and were impressed by the quality of the platform. After visiting the Brisbane head office, they felt confident in the systems behind the scenes and how seamless the model appeared.
Since onboarding, the team says the support has been strong.
“We’ve been very happy with all the help we’ve had during the onboarding process,” Damon says. “All the staff that we have worked with have been awesome to deal with. It feels good to be part of the URBAN X family.”
Looking ahead, Gore Realty is focused on growth at the right pace - building capacity without losing the boutique standard that sets them apart. With URBAN X handling more of the backend and marketing load, the team expects to have more time to look after clients properly and maintain high standards.
For other agents considering a similar move, Damon’s advice is grounded and realistic.
“It’s not for everyone,” he says, “but if you have a big dream it can come to reality.”
