After seven years in real estate, Jamie Hill is taking the next step in his career, launching Hill & Co Property alongside his son, Jayden, with the support of URBAN X.
Since entering the industry in 2019, Jamie has built his reputation across the Sunshine Coast through strong client relationships, repeat business and referrals. With more than 20 years of experience in sales, customer service and business leadership, he understands the importance of listening to clients, providing honest advice and delivering results.
For Jamie, real estate has always been about the people behind the properties.
“What I love most is helping people move forward with confidence. Having bought and sold six properties with my own family, I understand how much is riding on these decisions and how stressful the process can feel.”
Throughout his career, Jamie found that the administrative demands of real estate could take valuable time away from clients. He wanted the freedom to create a business where personal service, strong communication and achieving great results remained the priority.
Having previously managed a national retail business, Jamie was no stranger to business leadership. Starting something of his own had been a long-held ambition, but the opportunity to do it alongside Jayden gave the decision a greater sense of purpose.
Together, they launched Hill & Co Property, bringing their family name to an independent agency built around the values they share.
“The opportunity to build something alongside my son Jayden was a big part of the decision. We share the same values around honest advice, clear communication and taking personal responsibility for our clients’ experience.”
To support their new venture, Jamie and Jayden partnered with URBAN X, giving them the freedom to build Hill & Co Property under their own brand, with the systems, technology and operational support of an established real estate platform behind them.
The partnership means the father-and-son team can focus on building their presence across the Sunshine Coast, working directly with clients and delivering the personalised service at the heart of their business.
For Jamie, the opportunity goes beyond establishing another real estate agency. It's about building something alongside Jayden that they can continue to develop together.
With Hill & Co Property underway, Jamie has some advice for other agents considering taking the step into business ownership.
“If you believe in your ability and the service you can give people, don’t let being comfortable stop you. At some point, you have to take the leap and give it a go.”
